Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer

THE ROLE
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and commercial acumen. You will be the technical voice of CSP Security during the sales cycle — earning customer trust, demonstrating product value, and helping close business globally.
You will work closely with the Sales Team and customer ecosystem to support new business development across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, engaging directly with Nonstop operations teams, IT security leads, and CISOs at Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Technical Demos and Proof of Concept
- Lead tailored product demonstrations for prospective customers, translating technical capability into clear business value
- Design and execute Proof of Concept engagements that address specific security and compliance challenges in the prospect’s Nonstop environment
- Own the technical narrative during the sales cycle from first demo through to close
Discovery Calls with Prospects
- Lead technical discovery conversations with Nonstop operations managers, security leads, and CISOs
- Identify and articulate security gaps, compliance exposure, and audit risk in the prospect’s current Nonstop configuration
- Translate prospect pain into a clear, quantified case for CSP Security’s solution
RFP and Proposal Responses
- Own technical sections of RFP and RFI responses, ensuring accuracy, differentiation, and alignment with CSP’s positioning
- Build and maintain a reusable library of technical responses, architecture diagrams, and compliance mapping documents
- Collaborate with the sales lead to ensure proposals are commercially compelling as well as technically sound
Partner Technical Enablement
- Act as the technical point of contact for partner co-selling engagements
- Support HPE Nonstop Division in joint customer conversations where security is part of the platform discussion
- Provide direct customer support as needed
Customer Support
- Provide direct customer support as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
Essential
- Strong understanding of security principles in financial services or payment processing environments
- Proven ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience supporting or leading pre-sales engagements in an enterprise B2B environment
- Comfortable operating independently in a global, remote-first role
Highly Valued
- Hands-on experience with HPE Nonstop environments — Guardian, TACL, BASE24, or NonStop SQL
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS, DORA, or other financial services compliance frameworks
- Experience with Nonstop security tools
- Prior experience in a vendor or consultancy serving Tier 1 banks or payment processors
- Language skills relevant to EMEA or APAC markets
